The MyMHI’23, conducted from June 2022 to July 2023, is a pioneering initiative in Malaysia and ASEAN, providing a comprehensive overview of youth mental health. t is an essential tool for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to understand the mental health landscape of Malaysian youth and develop targeted interventions. The index covers seven domains, offering a holistic picture and aiding in formulating effective strategies to enhance mental wellbeing. As we launch MyMHI’23, we embark on a path to understand better and address the mental health needs of Malaysian youth, ensuring they are equipped to contribute meaningfully to society and their personal development.
Objektif Program
- To share the comprehensive findings of the MyMHI’23, focusing on the seven domains of life that significantly impact the mental wellbeing of Malaysian youth.
- To convene key stakeholders from multiple sectors, fostering a dialogue on collaborative strategies and emphasizing the importance of multisectoral cooperation in addressing youth mental health issues.
- To increase awareness about mental health challenge faced by youth, highlighting the need for proactive measures and community engagement.
- To advocate for active youth participation in policy-making processes, ensuring that young people's perspectives and voices are considered in decisions that affect their mental wellbeing.
